Dearie, if you're quite so impaired as to actually believe the content of the reminder email did in fact say "HEY, STUPID, YOUR CREDIT CARD HAS EXPIRED", then you are exactly the sort of person who'd let that kind of thing happen. Congratulations!

That email is very similar to an email I sent to a domain regsitrar a few months ago. Except I never received any "HEY, STUPID, YOUR CREDIT CARD HAS EXPIRED" notices.
